Sharpen your eye and drawing skills by entering the 3rd dimension! Let a slab of clay be your canvas, creating form and volume by carving into or adding clay. Utilize different textures; work in high/low relief producing real and visual depth. By working dimensionally, students will get a better feel of negative space, anatomical form and the massing and planes of the body. Working in relief is a fun way to reinforce basic drawing concepts.
